Rav Shlomo Katz has served as Rav of the Shirat David community since 2016, leading the community with his shiurim, halachic guidance, inspiration, and counsel. He received his rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Chaim Brovender and Rabbi Shlomo Riskin at the Joseph and Gwendolyn Straus Rabbinical Seminary. Rav Shlomo is also a world-renowned musician who has released multiple albums and performed for audiences around the globe. His passion for music has, in turn, become part of the very identity of Shirat David, shaping the unique character of the tefillot and other events throughout the year.
